Experience:

• Played at Independence High School where he was Captain and Defensive Player of the Year.

• Named All-Conference student-athlete.

• Played at Eastern Carolina University and Wingate University, where he was a four year starter.

• Named to the All-Conference team in 2003 and 2004, while also being named to the All-Region and All-American team in 2004. 

• Served as an Assistant Coach at Wingate University in 2004.

• In 2004, Spencer signed a professional contract and played two years with the Kenosha Mammoths of Kenosha, Wisconsin and the Springfield/Ozark Ducks of Springfield, Missouri in the Frontier League.

• Worked as a hitting and catching instructor at On Deck during the off-season while playing professional baseball.

• In 2005, served as a head coach at Walnut Grove High School level in Missouri, where he led his team to a 19-5 record, a regular season Conference Championship, a Conference Tournament Championship and forty-six Missouri State Team Records.
