Experience:

• Played at Harding High School

• Played for American Legion Post 262 in Charlotte, NC

• Was drafted out of high school by the Baltimore Orioles

• Attended and played at North Greenville Junior College, where he was named to the All-American Team.   He was drafted by the Montreal Expos after his freshman year.

• Transferred to West Palm Beach Junior College, where he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the second round.

• Transferred to UNC Charlotte, where he played from 1987 - 1988

• Coached at West Charlotte High School

• Coached during the summers with American Legion Post 262

• Coached with Mike Shildt at On Deck during the 2001 and 2003 seasons
