Daniel Bard (2004 O's/UNC) signed with the Boston Red Sox (AA).

  • Brian DaCanal (2009 O's/Cherryville High School) made the All-Gaston/Lincoln Team, and the North Carolina Coaches All State Team.  DaCanal also was a member of the Cherryville Ironmen Team that won the 1A State Title.

  • Tyler Pilkington (2008 O's/Weddington High School) made the All-Piedmont Team.

  • Charlie McCready (2008 O's/Fort Mill High School) and Ben Boykin (2010 O's/Nation Ford High School) made the All-Upper South Carolina Team.

  • Rus Shefte (2009 O's/Charlotte Catholic High School), made the 2008 All-Mecklenburg Second Team.

  • Jordan Darnell (2008 O's/Ardrey Kell High School), was named the Observer Player of the Year.

  • Ryan Stetson (2009 O's/Ardrey Kell High School), Jordan Darnell, (2008 O's/Ardrey Kell High School) and Adam Waters, 2008 O's/Hopewell High School), made the 2008 All-Observer and 2008 All-Mecklenburg Teams.

  • Adam Waters (2008 O’s/Hopewell High School); Jordan Darnell (2008 O’s/Ardrey Kell High School); and Ryan Stetson (2009 O’s/Ardrey Kell High School) were named to the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association’s All State Team.

  • Congratulations to 2011 O's (Black) Ryan Craft and Cherryville High School on winning the 1A State Championship.
